Rockwell Automation Fair 2019
Calvary Robotics presented at the Rockwell Automation Fair 2019 at McCormick Place West in Chicago Illinois. Calvary displayed two different automation cells. One using the Epson Flexion N2 Compact 6-Axis Robot and a Telesis CO2 laser to custom mark pens. The second cell was one Calvary's Standard Platforms an X-Cell II. The X-Cell II used a Cognex vision system to locate wooden blocks being feed on a converyor and a Kuka 6-Axis robot to pick & place, pack and unpack the blocks into a defined space.
According to Rockwell Automation the two day fair is "the premier industrial automation event offering unmeasurable knowledge and skill-building opportunities in just two days. With over 150 exhibits and more than 400 hours of education opportunities." The fair holds Hands-on Labs, Technical Sessions, Industry Forums and the latest in products, services, advancements, innovative solutions and applications. Over 19,000 people attended the fair in 2018, with this year set to meet or exceed those numbers. Next year's Automation Fair will be held in Anaheim California, November 18th & 19th.
